I think Brook's power is better at 154, there's a possibility he'll perform even better. He's too small for MW, too big for WW, this might just be the perfect fit.
Not like everyone is lining up to fight Spence.... It's a "whatever." fight that's perfectly acceptable given the politics and inactivity of certain fighters in the Welterweight division. Alexander or Berto wouldn't be any better(probably worse currently) other than name recognition.
Thank you. Its one of my biggest question marks with Spence. Brook buzzed him several times during their fight and hes (Brook) not a big puncher like people say he is.
He's no Jose Luis Lopez that's for sure When Mexico sends its boxers, they're not sending their best. This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected
FTR that fight with Yuri Boy was almost 22 years ago and the latter was nearly a decade into his career already. He's still active having last fought in March picking up win 107 by way of stoppage(his 82nd) How's that for longevity lol. a career spanning 4 decades - for some perspective Reagan was still president when he made his debut and he's still active under the reign of Trump.
Ocampo is like Horn, he can't fight at all, that's why Crawford will fight him, but never go near Porter or Spence, nobody legit. Horn was a joke by Uncle Bob who cheated Pac..................
Good news for the OP Spence will probably fight the Alexander v Berto winner next. Bad news for everyone else is that Spence will probably fight the Alexander v Berto winner next.
Campas rated Jose Luis Lopez very highly BEST CHIN Raul Marquez: He could take a lot of punches and it didn’t faze him. FASTEST HANDS De La Hoya: He was more rapid than anybody. FASTEST FEET Daniel Santos: Because all he did was run [laughs]. He was here, he was there, he was like a rabbit. SMARTEST Felix Trinidad: Very intelligent in the ring. He made all the moves. I knocked him down [in the second round], Trinidad thought about it and changed his tactics. STRONGEST Lopez: He could take the punches and he kept pressuring. His punches were harder than any other punches I took from anybody else to this day. BEST PUNCHER Lopez: He has the experience, he had everything over me at that time. De La Hoya has no punch. BEST SKILLS Lopez: He was a complete fighter all around, not only power, he had skills. Trinidad’s father took care of him, De La Hoya because he’s American, he had people watching over him but Lopez was left to the wolves, his diet, drugs all this stuff destroyed this man’s career. BEST OVERALL Lopez: Pressure-wise, the best, taking punches, they didn’t faze him, the hardest I’ve ever been hit was by Lopez. How come De La Hoya refused to fight Lopez? Because Lopez was the best.
