There wasn't anything that DeJesus could do that Ortiz couldn't do better, ultimately. A 15 round decision for Ortiz...a comfortable one where he really takes over in rounds 11 through 15..even scoring a knockdown in one of the last rounds to cement the victory.
I think Dejesus matches up better with Duran than Ortiz (although I rate Duran higher and would pick Duran vs Ortiz). Dejesus was good enough to exploit Duran's aggressiveness. He wouldn't have as many opportunities against Ortiz. As stated, Ortiz was a little better in most categories. Ortiz W15.
Just out of curiosity do you guys think DeJesus can score a knockdown over Ortiz like he did to Duran twice?
For some reason, no. The reason for that is probably in the style disparity between Ortiz and Duran..Ortiz being somewhat more cautious and wary than Duran against DeJesus.
