carlos ortiz vs ike williams....

    I like Ortiz, he's very good at offsetting the opposition, that's a must against Ike, who i'd advise any fighter i care about to avoid!

    Seriously though, i know he obviously didn't beat everyone he fought, but at his peak when he was winning, brutal doesn't even begin to describe him.

    :goodike is one of the top 3 in my opinion.the fight were he busted up beau jack in 6 was brutal but even ike wanted the find stopped.
    he's great to watch too.

    Yeah, i give him a good shot at Duran myself, it's just because of the way he makes room for his power shots.

    i like all the top fighters of that era.i like the way they throw left hooks and he, ezzard charles and his ilk were beautiful to watch

    Carlos would nip this one over 15..as great as Williams was, Ortiz was the man!!

    This is a tough one. Ortiz' elusivity would make it difficult for Ike to land cleanly. But when Ike did start landing...I'll say Ike by UD or a late TKO on cuts, but wouldn't be surprised if Ortiz can outpoint him.

    I've thought Ortiz would edge this in the past, and he would control some of this bout...but eventually Ike would catch him. Very tough fight to call, but Williams hits so hard and he is a killer once he gets his man hurt.
