    Post your scorecards and discuss

i had Laguna winning 145-141 but did not have round 4 in my version of fight so called it even the rounds broke down as

    Laguna: 2,3,4,5,9,10,11,14,15
    Ortiz: 1,7,8,12,13

I was surprised taht Laguna was able to rock Ortiz late on and that Ortiz struggled to hit him at times, i was also impressed with Ismael lead right

I haven't watched or scored the fight in ages, but I've always felt Laguna finished big in the last 2 or 3 rounds, and that sealed the decision for him after a roughly even fight up until then. Fair decision for Laguna.

The way it looked to me, Ortiz got caught up in chasing Laguna, and it ended up that chasing Laguna wore him out for the late rounds. In their rematches, Ortiz essentially turned the tables by making much better use of his own jab and boxing ability, and making Laguna fight on his own terms.

My scorecard is actually quite different to yours GPater in terms of the round-by-round breakdown, but in terms of outcome, it's pretty similar. Brilliant performance by Ismael.

it is very very close rounds and it could go either way but i think it should be a Laguna win

whats your RBR scorecard for it out of intrest

great fight you will enjoy it

ok, so last night i stuck in Ortiz-Laguna 3 really geting into it and it gets to the 11th round and it finsihes i had it

    Laguna: 2,3,6,8
    Ortiz: 1,4,5,7,9,10

going by Boxrec the judges score cards were 11-4 x2 and 12-3 so Ortiz must have swept the last 5

    144-142 Laguna

    Ortiz: 1,2,3,4,8 and 12.

    Laguna: 5,6,7,9,10,11,13 and 14.

    Round 15 even.

I thought Ortiz was doing well early on, but then he seemed to hit a wall and it was pretty much all Laguna thereafter. Not sure if it was owing to under training, as is claimed or if he simply had trouble catching up with Laguna once he started to motor, but I felt Carlos looked a little devitalised after a promising start.

i thought Laguna did a good job of making him chase him and tire himself out
