Just getting into the Hatton spirit of things. I say Palomino schools Ricky, after Hatton puts up a good fight in the early stanzas. Palomino by late rounds tko.

i say see a more one sided( in the favour of palomino) version of the dave green fight

palomino by ko around the 8th to 10th rounds

hatton probably the most overrated british fighter of the lightwelter and welterweight divisions

Now this would be a good match. Green v Hatton. Would be a brutal one.

yeah it would be a great fight and i know loads will say ricky would win i am not so sure for me green was although smaller the one out of the two that looked better at welter i dont think the green that faced stracey and palomino would get beat by the hatton that faced mayweather or collazo

hatton has the edge at lightwelter but again i think it could well of been a real tough fight for him but a win

hatton the body puncher would become the body punched versus palomino.carlos is bigger, hits harder and undoubtedly takes a better punch

At near 50 years of age he did well enough against 90's welterweight contender Wilfredo Rivera, who gave Whitaker and Mosley some real problems.

Yeah. It was unlucky for him that he came along at the same time as Benitez and Duran. Otherwise he'd have ruled until Sugar Ray Leonard came along.

A come forward guy with a couple questions surrounding his chin versus a murderous, powerful two handed puncher?

    Ugh.

Palomino was a very, very good welterweight champion, imo a fraction short of the great welters that followed him like Benitez, Leonard, Duran and Hearns.

Palomino was better at welter than Hatton was at light welter. Hatton up at welterweight would have got slaughtered by Palomino.

At welter, in British terms Hatton would get soundly beaten by Honeyghan, Colin Jones would have absolutely sparked him.

And on one of his focused nights,Kirkland Laing would have outboxed him.

Laing's name did cross my mind actually, but I didn't mention him because he was so erratic. The Laing of the Duran & yes, the Jones fights would have beaten Hatton imo...but what if the Laing of the Reg Ford fight turned up? Not so good...
