I’d say Tito definitely hit harder than Duran. Duran is better is every aspect but for power IMO. Tito was a chilling puncher.

He did take it but only for 10 rounds. Duran had him on the canvas albeit briefly.

15 rounds would make this very interesting for Tito.

Tito on points. Higher level fighter. Palomino was from Westminster boxing club and trained by Jackie McCoy and Noah Cruz, who were ok but not top level guys. Well trained and conditioned.

Remind me of which good fighters Tito stopped at 160.

Why bring up pfp punchers and use a double standard of Duran being 2 weights above his prime weight if I can't do the same with Tito?

So, who did Tito stop at 160 to make a pfp harder puncher than Duran?

Joppy was good. To be fair, I don't think Duran kayoed any good middles, did he?

I'm going to defend NoNeck here. He merely pointed out that you can be P4P a better puncher but if you weigh 12lb less than someone they may still carry more power than you simply by dint of being bigger. That's all he said. Nothing controversial. Surprised it kicked off after that.

I grew up during the 70’s but still pick Tito! Unless my brother Robert is correct and the fight is for 15, then I might switch to Carlos?

Tito never had to go 15 but from what I know about him as a fighter I don't think he would have a problem. He was well conditioned. He carried his punch late which is something not all punchers can do. Palomino was also strong in stamina. That was something he counted on...taking guys into deep water wearing them down to the body.
It might be a wash in that department. Trinidad had a better skillset and more firepower .

I wish you people would not go overboard on Duran. And I think this does. This is about Palomino and Tito and the overrating of Duran happens even here. If the man would have knocked out Ray and Benitez and Hearns. Yeah GOAT. He didnt. He was a great fighter. Great instinctively. Let us leave it at that. I try to. And then people get mad at me when I say what I think. And I believe what I think. But after a few years of this I am tired of saying the same stuff about Duran. You can look up what I think or I can say it again.. Great instinctive fighter. The quick greats when he moved up outclassed him. What more can you say. Yeah beat Barkley and Moore.. I said the quick greats beat him. Those guys Moore and Barkley were not quick and not great.
