Carlos Quintana VS Antonio Margarito

Easy win for Quintana. Margarito is way too sloppy and predictable for him, plus he lacks power and gets very frustrated/confused by movers.

 

Quintana by close but clear UD.

Margarito by comfortable decision. He puts a LOT more on his punches then Williams, and Quintana looked tired late. He was a little sloppy too. Margarito doesn't tire, and keeps going late. But that's under the assumption he starts quicker, which he has said he plans to do.

 

Margarito would pressure him all night and Quintana would not have the power to back him off. He would crumble under Margarito's pressure. I would be surprised he heard the final belt...

Give some kind of analys. You cant just say someone is sh!t because you don't like him...:-(

 

A guy not liked by very many, a guy not thought of that highly by many fans (other then guys involved in boxing), a guy no one says is an ATG....and yet he's so overrated? If THAT gets on your nerves, pull the stick outta yo uptight ass.

 

He's overrated because most people consider him an actual legitimate top WW. He'd lose to Quintana very wide, that's obvious to anyone with boxing knowledge. Hell, we even have a common opponent to compare in Paul Williams, who everyone who hyped up on as something special.

Margarito lost a decision, Quintana won a decision and would have stopped him had he better stamina.

The only chance Margarito has against Quintana is if Quintana really gasses and somehow gets stopped. I could even see Margarito getting stopped here, Clottey and Williams both buzzed him, showing that his chin is not iron like people think. Case in point, Margarito is even easier to hit than Williams is.

 

Margo by mid-round TKO as Quintana gasses out from the sustained pressure.

Wow...getting buzzed mean not a solid chin. For someone with NO DEFENSE and an iffy chin and who apparently sucks, he sure hasn't been dropped or stopped yet. Go back to jerking in front of a mirror...

 

Damn . . . a pretty even fight in my opinion.
