    Very intresting.
    Margo loses to Williams.
Quintana gives Williams a boxing lesson.
This does not mean that Quintana beats Margo.
    I like both fighters.
Williams did fight one stupid fight against Quintana.
Margo is alot stronger than Williams and hits alot harder.
And he wont lead with his face like Williams did.
I think I would pick Margo.
I think it would be a hard fought battle --- nevertheless.

No need for an analysis? Yeah, because you aren't capable of giving one. You just think your opinion is good enough, so you almost NEVER give one. Almost everytime you're asked for an analysis on fights you post about, you run away lilke a chicken. We both know why.

When you get the balls, give your UNBIASED analysis. Otherwise, go **** yourself, which you just love to do.

"quintana on points.margarito is a piece of ****,it really gets on my nerves how overrated he is."
This is pretty much the only analysis needed.

You said Quintana looked sloppy.. then what is Margarito? There is nobody more overrated than Margarito. He is so overrated that he has literally spread his overrated disease to other fighters, Clottey and Williams. But still after all 3 of those hyped fighters have disappointed, people think he's a top level WW and a threat to Cotto.

Quintana looking sloppy against Williams means NOTHING to Margarito now, does it. I know Margarito looks sloppy at times as well. So? He's a volume puncher, he throws a lot. Obviously not all are going to land clean. That's the nature of being a volumer puncher. But is that the case with Quintana? Nope.

    At times?

Volume punchers need very good power or accuracy to be effective against a fighter like Quintana. Margarito sucks in both categories. He is the luckiest fighter in the world to be where he is right now. He's a tiny bit higher than Telefetura headliner level and he somehow keeps getting money fights.

If there is a boxing God, Cintron will KTFO Margarito.

I see this is just a pissing contest now.

If you want to say 'why', w/o trying to be Amstedam Jr, then I'm game. Just saying "Margarito sucks" might be good enough to impress the kids. But in reality, it's not saying much.

I guess asking some poster to give an analysis or "why" on this matchup is asking too much?

Margarito isn't as lanky and clumsy as Williams, who btw lost and gained 18lbs in a matter of two days for that Quintana fight. A fact that absolutely CANNOT be ignored.

Quintana fights at a pace where he is guaranteed to be tired by the 5th-6th rounds. A guy who will put alot on his punches late will give him trouble. Margarito does this. And he has the sort of looping right hands to catch southpaws in retreat.

Barring a very cheesy jab n' grab style, Quintana will lose. Likely by late TKO or UD.

What will it take for you guys to see Margarito for what he is? :|

The saddest thing is that if Quintana easily beat Margarito, Margarito's rating would be the same to people, but Quintana would then be considered an elite fighter and great A level boxer.

For one, just saying he's **** won't cut it. What's the point of that? Anyone can say something like that. Not everyone can post their reason WHY in an unbiased fashion.

Don't overlook the facts here Huki.

    1. Williams was foolishly draining weight to beat Quintana. The fact that he put on 18lbs in 24 hours after the weighin ought to tell you something. And I think you know what that is.

    2. Williams stylistically against Quintana had lots of trouble with Quintana's size and his speed. He was just too big and too clumsy to deal with the lunge and grab style that Quintana employed midway as his plan B when Williams started to come on. Margarito as should be noted, is only 5'11 compared to Williams being 6'1 but probably more like 6'2". Recall the photos between Margarito and Williams. Williams towered over Margarito. Quintana and Margarito would likely see eye to eye. And that makes Quintana's lunge and grab plan B very difficult to pull off. It's alot easier for a small man to position a man 6'1" so it won't be as easy to position a man who is same size no matter what you think of his abilities.

    3. Paul Williams is a guy who is nothing but volume. He has very little power and it's been evident over the course of the Mathyesse, Pakau, Margarito and Quintana fights. He simply doesn't apply alot of power to his punches opting for activity. Margarito on the other hand is a different horse. He puts power on everything and while he might not crack as hard as Cotto punch for punch, he does hit hard enough to where after some rounds you will be feeling it. Because of this reality I believe that Quintana will feel more pain and will exhaust faster against Margarito than he did against Williams.
