Can you believe it's only been nine months since Cotto blew him out? Feels like longer since Cotto's kept so active, with two fights since then and another scheduled for the fall. Still, you would imagine if Carlos is still going to compete we'd be hearing something pretty soon. What are some matchups that could/should materialize in 08?
Quintana UD Berto. A Collazo fight would be a pick'em for me; Luis is pretty damn slick but when you think about it he's really never paired up in a big fight with another great pure boxer. :think
Why are you stating it as fact, when it isn't. Many boxers have been in trouble in early rounds only to turn it 180 degrees.

He's just a mess and became overrated to hell after the Margarito fight, because everyone assumed that Margarito was a true top class fighter. He can't deal well with movers, can't deal with effective pressure and gasses after 4-5 rounds, on top of it, he's feather fisted at WW. He's going nowhere.
If that happens, you certainly cant accuse Quintana of searching for soft touches after Cotto and then Williams. Carlos broke my heart in the Cotto loss. Although the loss isnt anything to be ashamed of, I truly believed CQ was gonna win that fight. From a stylistic standpoint? I'd absolutely love to see PBF vs Quintana!!!!!! I'd give Carlos another shot at breaking my heart:good :yep Of course, Floyd wouldnt take him on UNLESS he beats a guy like Williams and start's getting the public's attention. I'm not entirely sure about But other thn those? Amsterdam's right!! Clottey is very over rated. He's does have decent power, but a well schooled and skilled fighter is gonna give him fits every time!!!
