Carlos Takam vs Luis Ortiz

The spry 60yo Ortiz should have enough still in his tank to win a clear UD.

 

Fight seems kind of pointless to me. Either one against a younger fighter coming up would be way better.

 

I'm dreading this, Chisora flattered Takam so I expect Ortiz to do the same but..

What I'm dreading is the Ortiz Myth catching life and all those Ortiz fans (all 8 of them) coming back on here telling us AJ and Fury are ducking him.

I just can't ya know, I just can't do it.

 

Takam was very good, but I think his age has caught up with him.

Ortiz is older, but I think he's aged better.

First pick: Ortiz by KO. Second pick: Ortiz by decision.

 

Takam is his prime was on at least on par with prime Jennings which is Ortiz only real notable win.

Takam was beating Chisora until he gassed out and got caught with a good shot. I can see Takam out working Ortiz and put pressure on him in similar fashion.

Decent fight.

 

Nah it wouldn't be. Jennings is still more serviceable than Takam and was probably better at his peak which Ortiz beat him at.
