will be on the Whyte - Chisora card. Won’t be Hunter, although he has signed with Matchroom officially. Who do we want to see him fight? People joking saying it’s gonna be Dave Allen. Funny thing is, it wouldn’t surprise me!
Wouldn't happen, but Takam v Kownacki would be a cool fight. Realistically, he needs a bounce back fight, an easy win. Dave Allen is a good suggestion. Easy win, but action packed while it lasts. I don't think Allen would agree to a fight like that now though.
What is about Hearn wanting a piece of everyone who’s fought AJ before?maybe it’s a good opportunity for some but this imo was one of the problems in trying to secure Wilder v Whyte or Wilder v AJ in that he wanted him to sign for multiple fights under him.kinda weird I reckon.
Takams promoters are the ones Hearn's partnered up with for the Italian cards. I think youll see more of this sort of stuff moving forward, fights that have interest for other countries with DAZN.
At this stage he might as well rematch Parker. He's too old to be 'rebuilding', not that it'd lead him anywhere.
He made some nice change from the AJ fight I suspect, if he is careful with his money he can be financially secure. At this point he has to take on a Hunter, Fa, Jennings, Hughie fury etc.
Those boxers involved must be loving it,guys like Parker fighting in front of 90 000 people(more than Froch lol)and earning God knows how much more money?is a great thing for them but Wilder is under Haymon and I can’t see him let Wilder do that, could well be Haymon that’s been blocking this fight from the get go.
That woul That fight makes so much actually, their first encounter wasn’t conclusive at all,Parker needs to rebuild but Takam is still a good enough scalp to get him back on the ladder and to see if he’s good enough to be at the top level. Slight risk in that if it’s another close twelve round job he could cop some stick and set him back, really though he should wanna back himself to a number on Takam.
Lose, win, lose, lose. Fa would be the "who doesn't belong" option if this was multiple choice. But any of the other three would be good fights and he'd be a live underdog for them for me.
Eh, I'd rather see both test themselves against different fighters. While its been getting better the last few years, there still aren't enough contender v contender fights and I'd rather see where they each stand against others. Someone mentioned Jennings and Hughie Fury, those would be good fights for either one.
For sure we do but I wouldn’t hold it against Parker after losses to AJ and Whyte,he’s just not in the same position as Tyson Fury,AJ or even Whyte who has done brilliant in rebuilding his career. Certainly wouldn’t wanna see him take ages over it which is why I think Takam would be perfect in seeing if he is good enough and it would save him having to fight three lesser guys as they often do. Hugie Fury is in very much the same position so I doubt his team would wanna throw him back in at that level just yet as another loss would spell the end for him just now and let’s be honest after their first fight who would wanna see a repeat of Hugie Fury v Joseph Parker lol?
I threw him in there coz when you have an undefeated prospect, you can usually rebuild a career by taking their 0s
If I were managing Takam I'd feed him a bunch of gimme's in quick succession. He should never have lost to Chisora in the first place. 2-3 fast gimmes and then somebody good. If you have too much fail in a row I think it can crack some dudes.
