What did all think of this fight. By todays standards Gomez would of been lucky not to get DQ'd.

How do u rate this amoung Gomez's wins

I felt the Pintor win was bigger. However just a reminder of why I disliked Gomez so much when he was on the go.Low blows, deliberate punches after the bell and punching his opponent while he was down are all examples of why he should have been disqualified in that fight.

Great win, although Zarate was supposedly coming off a cold and not in the best of condition. Not that he'd have ever beaten that Gomez.

An "ok" Zarate would have made it to round 6...same result.

Probably his best win and best performance IMO.

Zarate doesn't look so hot but Gomez looks good enough here for me to be sure he'd be his superior every time.

This is what a mythical p4p Robinson vs Louis fight would look like.;)

the Truly complete, versatile boxer-puncher with great power more often than not beats the stiffer, more front foot orientated seek and destroy type with great power.Facing someone almost as hard hitting and who throws just as nice punches, while being able to operate at all ranges and in all directions is mightily tough to overcome for the likes of Zarate, Arguello, Louis..

Luckily there aren't too many fighters in each division who would fit that description.

Gomez has to go down as one of the most complete fighters in history.
