Zamora was a beast. Watching his fights before Zarate (and knowing he decimated an apparently green Eusebio Pedroza, impressive nonetheless) you can tell how hard he hits; his spirited showing against a deadly Zarate shows he had the ability.

Davila is a very impressive win. Rafael Marquez would get hopeless against Davila IMO, and I think he'd clean up at Bantam today. Very skilled operator. In this day and age he'd pick up a strap at super-fly, Bantam and 122.

I feel Zarate won the Pintor fight. The Rodolfo Martinez fight is a competitive one but Zarate overwhelms him late on. He shows his full range in this fight, coming through adversity to pummell his man senseless.

Gomez was supernatural at 122lbs. I honestly feel he'd beat both Jofre and Olivares at the weight, he could be absolutely destructive yet sublime at the same time. In the Davila fight he boxes absolutely perfectly. Doesn't put a fut wrong and takes him out in clinical fashion.

In short, I think today has been a strange day; a lot of people not rating Zarate's division. IMO the 2nd strongest time for the Bantams ever, behind the Harada/Jofre/Rose/Rudkin/Olivares era. Any objections?
