Carmen Basilio vs Oscar DH (154 lbs max) (Wonder what Basilio would say pre-fight, if he saw that photo of ODH in "fishnet"?)
Basilio beat Robinson at middle so should be able to handle the less savvy Hoya at 154lbs, DLH lost a large percentage of his biggest fights, Basilio was a lot better than most people Hoya faced, Mosely v Basilio at welter would have been a great match I feel and Hopkins vs Carmen at middle, class fighter.
Oscar's fragile left hand would explode the first time it bounces off that fire hydrant Carmen had for a skull.
This might be a decent fight At This weight, but I think WW might be a better choice. At MW I go much more towards Carmen. I think this would be ultra competitive from 147-154 Oscar gets a lot of hate on this forum for whatever reason and Basilio gets lumped in with crude slugger tough guys. I lean towards a Basilio decision in both of them over 12 rounds. I wouldn’t bet on this fight, and since I like both guys I wouldn’t really have a rooting interest outside of hoping for a great fight. I go with a close Basilio decision... or take him to win a 2 out of 3 trilogy
