carmen basilio vs rubin carter....

    Well the size is on the side of Rubin, who was a good fighter, we saw what a great middleweight who was really strong did to Carmen in Fulmer, i dont class Rubin quite as great though and i would possibly side with Carmen, who was great no doubt even if smaller

    Carter was no Fullmer though. No were near as great. Dont buy that movie BS. Carter had a short prime and even there he fail short of being great.

    Basilio was GREAT. 2 weight divison champ, wins over the likes of Robinson, Saxton, Demarco ete. Unless Basilio shows up not at the top of his game, or the past prime version that he was vs Pendler, I dont see Carter winning this.

    Yeah thats what im saying, a great MW did that to Carmen, but thats not what he's up against here, sorry, i might not have made my post clear.

    Basilio was the far better fighter he outworks Carter to a fairly wide decision.
