This would be a war, but I think Carmen would come out on top. He had more skill than the powerful Graziano, but he was also one of the toughest men to ever live, and I think he would win a decision in an action packed fight.

Basilio would outbox him easily. Graziano only chance would be a freak KO (Highly unlikely) or getting extremely lucky on a cut. Very strong and could bang but Basilio is much superior in my eyes.

Assuming this is at MW, I'll go with Rocky. Carmen had immense skill and would make it a tough fight, but I think that Graz's superior size and strength triumphs in the end. Rocky UD.

I like Basilio. I don't think Rocky was all that much bigger and I look for Carmen to outlast him and prove to be far less of a face fighter than Rocky.

Fulmer stopped basilio, graziano would catch him, he is made for the rocks right hand he was a come forward fighter with no defence and a natural welterweight

Basilio, although not ali by any means, was more dynamic than graziano. he would have been able to take short breaks from the all out war and box, especially early on. this would be the deciding factor. you know how some people say a fight is the best of the year, or the best of the decade? this fight would be a serious candidate for the greatest fight ever for how ever long it lasted. I personally think both guys would be so motivated to kill each other in there that it would last the full 15

No defence? Basilio wasn't a defencive master, but the man had plenty of subtle moves that would make his guy miss. A lot of the come forward type fighters of that time would only make the other guy miss by about an inch, and they would roll under punches. Just because the arm extends, doesn't mean the punch landed.

Fullmer was just too strong and had some underrated boxing ability of his own.

Graziano was more of a light middleweight (usually weighed around 154 lbs) and he didn't have a plan B. His style would play right into Basilio's hands.

Basilio walked through a great two fisted puncher like Robinson albeit an aging one,Graziano was only a big welter himself and ,essentially one handed.Basilio beats him conclusively ,maybe even stops him late.
