Yes, he was fighting HERCULES, son of Zeus. You think Wilder or Joshua or Fury could go 2 rounds with the big H and survive? I think not.

 

As has already been said, Primo rarely sat down on his punches or used much leverage.
But he was a large human being, so...
He could have certainly knocked my block off.

 

Folks got it, I will just at that he had a form of Giganticism, had a massive bone structure, & literally was a circus strongman.
He was possibly stronger than most any modern HW who benefits from modern weight training & often enough PEDs.

That does not mean he had proportionate punching power.

 

Carnera looked oddly unmuscular... obviously past prime no one was his equal in his prime.

Why are people making out that Carnera couldn't crack an egg?

 

Probably below average power for his size.

 

Primo reminds me of a Supersized Maxie Rosenbloom. Alot of people said Slapsie Maxie couldn't hit with much force. They were right. Same thing applied to Carnera except he can't box too good either.
One time one of Primo's setups wouldn't agree to lose. So the boys spiked his drink before the fight. I bet that guy can't tell us either. He was feeling no pain.
