Think they are trying to stop a needle being lost in a haystack with no idea where the farm is located. https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/boxing/ksi-vs-logan-paul-free-13136341 Strong words about streaming but impossible to police and stop.
Fook me it looks like You Tube's equivalent of Haye and Bellew indulging in WWE acting and the tubes sucked in to buy tickets and PPV on you are a tube. Absolutely amazed at the financial success of this - Fish has missed a trick here in his battle with Eh Day
All the "fighters" that have been on as of yet would get KO'd in round one by Charlie Zelenoff. Not even kidding, 100% serious.
the commentating is on the autism spectrum. they could have at least forked out for 1 of the old sky guys
I mean it's a bunch of youtubers who teens watch fighting. Not hard to figure out where the demand comes from.
The King of PPV - Sir Eh Day Hearn will be taking notes on this. There is an untapped PPV market for 2 school girls having a fight in the playground
There's no surprises here, celebrity is becoming increasingly valuable (Trump anyone!?!) If you are a known figure your actions and opinions are simply sought after, regardless of their objective value. I think boxing/MMA could actually benefit since celebrities (ahem) are sort of giving it their backing as a way of settling arguments. Even if it's on the back of this sort of BS, I think fighting sports should be grateful for the mainstream publicity, lest they be painted in the media as irrelevant and archaic.
