Carwin basically looked like a poor mans Fedor last night.

Fedor's loss to Werdum was the start of what will make him even greater. :deal

Fedor will take your boy JDS if he holds the UFC title, then Zulu Dana's Ferrari while he's in it. :deal

That's the prob with fedor who's been getting used to fighting colemanZulu,Linlund,HMC,Rogers,Sylvia etc. do you see what happens when he fights someone that at least has skill? He better not fight in the UFC....he should retire after rematching Werdum to keep his legacy in tact. He has the most padded record in mma history period.

Brock stumbled after he got his brain scrambled, it has nothing to do with "liking" to get hit. Almost nobody hits as hard as Carwin, and Brock isn't going to stand with them. Brock stood with him because he was rightly respectful of his size and wrestling, something nobody else has.

Now that Brock will be fighting guys with out the either size or world class wrestling to stop him, he is going to take guys down and finish them on the ground.

The side control to mount to arm triangle was solid, he isn't all of a sudden a master of subs, but he is getting better by the day, and was confident in it which is telling.

His standup also isn't terrible, he has done good work against all of his previous opponents.

It's just people who are so invested in Fedor being the best for ever and ever, which is a childish expectation, seeing the world in the only way that allows for their unrealiatic world view.

Fighters lose, fighters get passed by, it is not a mere possibility it is an absolute certainty, it is going to happen, 100% of the time.

People just are too emtionally invested in something that is impossible, an can't handle it now that it looks like happening in the next few years.

Fedor isn't some machine, that cheapens him. He is a human with human flaws, that's why his steak was so impressive, but that streak ended, and it ended rather unheroically. How people handle that and handle the inevitable humanization of Fedor will show if they are adults with brains or stupid fanboys with no emotional maturity.

By the looks of things I STILL say the UFC hw's are hiding behind the UFC banner scared to go outside and fight. Thats how I see it. You can spin it they way Mama Dana does if you like but we know the truth.

You are such a tool. Yea Fedor hasn't fought anyone with skill. You UFC guys are getting so lame its ridicules. Isn't it funny how everyone except the UFC hw's and Dana thinks Fedor is the greatest fighter of all time?

If he wants to fight the best he enters the UFC, they don't have to go outside to fight the best. That's why Shogun,Wand,Rampage,Nog,CC,Hearing,Anderson,Gomi, etc comr there, guys like GSP, Shields,Anderson talk about fighting the best, Fedor's main concern has never been fighting the best and if you look t his resume that would be very obvious.

That's really only true in respect to Fedor's post-Pride career. After the fall of Pride, Fedor became an attraction for M1 to parade around the globe - and they have done their best to keep him away from the most dangerous heavyweights. Sylvia? Arlovski? Brett Rogers? Seriously?

He likes to beat "former UFC champs" which means they lost! to be a former champ. I wouldn't be surprised to see Fedor fight Hershall Walker next. And his baglickers on this site to defend him.

Being the greatest of all time (he is), is one thing.

Continuing to fight the top competition in the world (he isn't) is another.

Fedor simply is not fighting the best in the world right now, he hasn't for several years. He has fought good fighters, some very good fighters, but not the best.

Hiding from who? Werdum? He has been fought, he didn't exactly set the world on fire. Overeem? He looks very good, but he fights nobody worth mentioning, besides Kharitanov, who BEAT HIS ASS from pillar to post.

    Brett Roger's? Are you serious?

Outside of the UFC there is one fighter who is the most skilled, Fedor, one fighter who has promise but hasn't actually accomplished anything at all, and Werdum, who has fought against several UFC fighters and was good not great.

The guy who has defeated fighters such as
Prime-Antonio Rodrigo Noguiera- Former Pride and UFC champ
Prime Mirko Crocop-not the ufc crocop
    Arona
    Babalu
    Herring
    Fujita
    Goodridge
    Coleman
    Randleman
    Hunt

All this before beating Arlovski-Sylvia-lindland-rogers etc

    :huh

Is this the same Crocop that was fresh off winning the Pride open weight grand prix? That's not exactly the sign of a washed up fighter.

  14. Fedor has already beaten 40% of UFC's HW champions.

Unlike Lesnar, Fedor actually fights the best and the best of the world. People like Overeem hits like a horse and can actually kick and punch properly.

After 116 display, none of these UFC fighters could survive the Fedor, Overeem and Josh trilogy. These guys are the best, the more experienced fighters. These guys can actually last more than 1 round, unlike Carwin.

This Fedor thing is getting ****ing ridiculous. He's just a ****ing bloke, not a superhero. You guys read too many comics or something. His qualities are good chin, strength, and excellent tecnique. He is also a tactical master. But he is not the strongest, hardest hitting most invincible man that ever walked the ****ing earth

FFS grow up you bunch of spastics.
