He does come from a profession that's widely known for juicing the booty. Secondly, Lesnar is NOT a striker. How would he "molest" Overeem on the feet? That's some of the DUMBEST sh*t I've read this week. You're forgetting Overeem is a 6'5 striker and has 2 inches on Lesnar. Crock WOULDN'T stand with him if his wife needed a kidney transplant. And YOU having Lesnar ahead of Barnett tells me enough. You put a guy that's been a pro for maybe a year and a half(maybe 2) and put him over someone that's been one the best heavyweights for the longest now with a great resume. Barnett has had a better career and I still may pick him over Lesnar right now, but you HAVE TO admit that his last two wins are bigger than anything Barnett has done lately. The winner of the Barnett/Fedor fight will be the number one in the world, but that's just because Fedor is a clear #1 and so anyone who beats him will become #1. Disliking Lesnar doesn't undo his recent victories. Also, don't expect to see too many kicks from great kickboxers agasint Lesnar. They're going to want to do everything they can to keep off their backs, so simply by the fact that his ground and pound is so dominating he'll won't have to worry about kicks as much.
People not only overrate this guy's ground game, but they overrate his standup. I'm simply making the point Lesnar does not really like to stand. They make a big deal that he made Heath Hearring do a backroll:roll: They act like he knocked him out with that punch. Fact is, he didn't. I'm NOT saying Lesnar doesn't hit hard or that Hearring had a prayer in winning because he didn't, he's always had trouble with wrestlers. It's obvious the UFC threw Hearring at Lesnar to make him look good. And Lesnar knocking out a 45 or 46 yr old man that hadn't fought in like a yr or more that always had trouble with big HW'S, people seem to Overrate also. I'm simply saying Mir made him uncomfortable in that 2nd round. If Mir landed some shots and forced Lesnar to take him down, imagine Lesnar fighting Overeem, Barnett, fedor, hell even Carwin is a wrestler that can knock people out. They all hit harder than Mir does. And that's just being realistic.
I know kicking against wrestlers is risky, but I love Rich Franklin's approch vs Matt Hamill of beating the big bad wrestler's legs out from under him, that sh*t was awesome. Remember Lesnar is still green. He hasn't had that fire fight yet, with someone giving him a really hard time. Lesnar is still untested in certain area's and in certain situations. He may be winning right now, but the guy's he is fighting have better knowledge of what they are doing than he does. Sooner or later he's gonna fight someone that he's not gonna be able to bully.
