Not to worry. I'll be buying both fights for I am a Boxing fan, not a moaner like half of the posters on the general forum. Being the Juan Manuel Marquez that I am, it would be unthinkable to miss any of his fights, let alone such a significant one against Casamayor. I feel he'll win fairly comfortably but I've kept an open mind and considered many factors that could prove me wrong. Casamayor is the bigger man, the bigger puncher, and is a fairly good technician himself even in at his advanced age. Despite all of that though, I feel Marquez is the better boxer, younger, fresher, and has been fighting at a higher level the past 2-3 years than Casamayor. He'll win on points, I think. Can't wait for the fight. If it was 60 quid to watch it, I'd still pay for it...because I'm a Boxing fan.
I'd like JMM to win this one so he can fight the winner of campbell-guzman... JMM should make a name for himself and just forget pacman coz he definitely has the skills to be the top dog in this division. And by doing so he will finally get the respect and fame that he long deserved. And maybe who knows JMM and Pac's path might meet soon...
this fight is just average to me. I feel Casa recently lost to Santa Cruz and almost lost to Katsidis.
For the casual fans JMM's style is boring hence, will never get the adulation and respect that he'll hope to get. Unless he gets more aggressive, he'll remain in the background of other flashy fighters. It's only to ESB and really knowledgeable fans that he is understood...
