You take away the questionable knockdown that Acelino Freitas scored over Joel Casamayor, and the point that was taken away from Casamayor for hitting in the back of the head. Though the replay shows he tapped him on the neck.

I just watched this fight for the first time today so I don't remember all the details of who won which round but if you take away those two instances that favored Freitas would you still have him as the winner or would the fight be a draw or a Casa win?

I have a hard time seeing Casamayor pulling that one out with the two points that were taken away from him, without the point deductions then yeah Casamayor has a great argument for winning a fight that could have gone either way. This is another fight where referee Joe Cortez dropped the ball.

Id have it for Casa by 2 points...I had it a draw with the deductions.

A very close fight that deserved a rematch...But Acelino surprised me that night, he showed more then just a punch.

Yeah no doubt, the fight was like a poor mans version of Mayweather vs Castillo 1.

We wouldn't have to says certain things that are being said here if the sport caught up with all other major sports with instant replay, maybe. All calls should be subject to instant replay. At the very least, in all bouts that are big enough to tape should subject calls to instant replay analysis.
