Now that Marquez is moving up to Light Welterweight Casamayor has expressed interest in rematching Katsidis for the full WBO Lightweight title.

How do you see this playing out?

Does Joel win again or has Casamayor aged enough for Katsidis to pull of the win?

Obviously being Aussie i think Katsidis can win the remtach. Casamayor has aged bad and hasnt looked good since he fought Mick the first time. I think they were talking of bringing the rematch to Aus but not sure. One of the boys on the Aussie forum may have more info. It doesnt look like JMM is going to fight Katsidis as he is going for bigger money with Ricky Hatton, so with that fight not taking place i suppose its a good fight for Casa to get back into the mix and for Katsidis to avenge his first defeat.

the result would be a win for katsidis.

not due to cassa being aged (i think that's desrespectful to katsidis) but because katsidis would be a little smarter this time.

Close fight that could go either way.......... Casa might have Micks measure and psychological factor of KO'ing him last time is also an advantage.

Then again, Casa is getting on and that may swing it back a bit.

Casamayor is 38. He was almost 37 the first time they fought. You don't think this is a factor?

I didn't mean to disrespect him, I just ment it like when Casamayor won everyone said he was "young again" and all that.

So I ment it like has age finally caught up to him or will he turn young and win again..

he might not be as young as he once was but to say kats will win because of cassa's age is very unfair. if the guy is willing to step in the ring then he is young enough.

there r more than enough older fighters who r still on top of the world so i think the age thing is a bit of a scapegoat for fighters sometimes. instead of admitting that they just weren't good enough on the day.

kats' 'HUNGER' will prove the difference i believe. but it certainly won't be easy. cassa is a clever guy when he performs well.

i agree, with the recent changes katsidis has made to his game I think he can take casa based on effective workrate and "educated pressure"

well i was ringside at that fight @ casino morongo, and went to the post fight press conference, katsidis was really messed up on the face and el cepillo was eating like nothing happen...i dont know,if katsidis changes his style he might win,but yet who wants to see katsidis as a boxer instead of a offensive machine he is,but that what got him to lose...
