Casamayor vs. Katsidis

Katsidis has **** all power, he unloaded dozens of consecutive power punches on both Graham Earl and that gook, and they managed to walk right through 'em. Whereas Earl got battered by Amir Khan, totally destroyed, after taking about 2 of Khan's best.

Katsidis has heart, workrate and basic skill but he's got **** all power and is easy to hit. A smart veteran with good skills like Casa will make him pay, bigtime.

 

I agree about his power being overrated. He has never KO'ed any strong chinned fighters and he hasn't even faced a B level yet. He couldn't stop Amonsot, who was knocked out twice by a lesser fighter. His power is still a big question mark.

 

You could argue that Katsidis beat the **** out of Earl so bad that when Khan got his hands on him, all he had to do was sneeze in his direction and he'd go down.

 

you do could argue about that regarding earl but not by amonsot who was stop by a lesser fighter and katsidis goes the distance with him and looking like **** after the fight:yep

 

I admit, you have a point there. Will see saturday. I am expecting Kats to lose.

Kats doesn't win by knock out...he wins by an accumulation of punches and by his guts.

His skill set is blagh but his heart, workrate and determination is what makes him stand out. Kind of like another fun to watch fighter who tumbled a few weeks back....lets hope Kats avoids the headbutts.

 

Katsidis put amonsot in hospital and into early retirement - some boxers just have too much will power comapred to sense. but ye what power?
