Casamayor vs. Marquez (Battle comparison to...)

On paper this fight looks like a yawner but I have a feeling it's going to be pretty good.

 

Are you kidding me? Compare to JMM/Pac?

There can be a little more action than expected but never in comparison to JMM/Pac fight. Casa cannot put on the heat for full 12 rounds. He was already being owned by Katsidis when his killer hook saved him from a loss.

I think Marquez will win this. He has more left. If an ordinary fighter like Cruz could trouble Casamayor, Marquez should be able to beat him.

 

In big fights (PAc 1-2, Barrera) he's been dropped.... I can see Joel doing the same thing.. I think Casamoyer will win this fight... Both are great boxers, but im a side with Casamoyer..

 

few fighters can rise and manage a draw after being dropped thrice in 1 round.

 

JMM is fighting a washed up aging fighter. He should fight the young and up and coming ones.

casa is the more complete fighter between the two and is the better infighter. and his left uppercut is far better than any jmms lefts. this is going to be a very tactical fight though i see casa pressing it on forward most of the fights.

 

If Casa survived against the late monster puncher Chico and other legit lightweight badguys then Im confident he will be victorious against JMM. This will be a tactical fight and no way it will resemble to JMM-PAC.

 

What will happen to JMM if he loses to an aging Casa?

 

Nothing much if Pac loses to DLH as well.

 

It's expected that Pac will lose to ODLH while JMM is touted to win against Casa. If Pac loses, he's still #1 in status. But if JMM loses, he will slide down two notches lower while Casa replaces him. Imagine a washed up fighter beating the best tactical boxer in the world.

 

I think Calzaghe would replace Pac if he loses to ODLH
