Casamayor vs Pac at 135lbs

It would be a great fight. I favor Casamayor slightly because of his better boxing skills but Pacquiao has a good shot at winning too.

Pac stay away from Cas, I'd rather see Pac in with Nate than Cas.

i think it will be a tough matchup for both of them, we saw pac having troubles with counterpunchers while casamayor has slipped a bit and is susceptible to power punches. The way I see this fight playing out is that Joel will give a boxing lesson to Pac during the majority of the first half of the fight with pac landing the left from time to time. I see Casa tiring out late in the fight and Pac taking over. Another controversial decision i guess? it all depends on which casa will step in the ring the one that KOed Kats or the one battered by Santa Cruz.

 

i'll go with Casa for now, but i could really change my mind.Right now i'm leaning towards Casamayor mainly because i think he has the quickness to surprise Pacquiao, he is also a southpaw and the technician of the two which makes me think he would have an easier time adjusting to Pac's stance and touch that chin a bit more often, and cleanly than what it is ussually touched.

 

Well after watching the Katss v Casa fight which was awesome. I can say that although not at his best Casamayor is certainly back from the rust and poor performance of the last fight with Santa Cruz. Manny Pacquaio had trouble with Marquez (I was not convinced he won after rewatching it had Marquez by 2 rounds). Personally though Manny has a much better chin than Katsidis and is way quicker, also because he is also a southpaw it will not be as easy for Casa (I don't actually know how many southpaws Casa has faced). I think Manny left hand will be a factor but he will need to use the right more aswell. I personally think Manny will pressure Casamayor much more than Katsidis and he will not be stopped by Casas left. If this fight comes off I predict Pacquaio on points UD or late stoppage anytime from the 10th.

 

How in the world could Pac put any more pressure on Casa that Katsidis did? :? Katsidis was none stop coming forward the entire fight. I do see Pac winning though, I think Pac would land that straight left hand and stop Joel, but alot of this depends on pacs ability to move up in weight, use the bigger gloves and still carry his handspeed and power, which I think he will do

 

No doubt Manny can take a punch, the only way casamayor stops Pac if he hits him cleanly and follows up then he'll win by TKO but I don't think he has one punch power to knock PAC out. I prefer PAC fighting D.Diaz before unifying with either Campbell or Casamayor. PAC beats DD, against Campbell and Casamayor PAC won't be favorite.

 

I dont know man, still alot of questions if Pac can fit in right with the lightweight division. If Pac's speed is still there at 135 as it was in 130 then ill give him a decent shot.

Id feel more comfortable seeing Nate Campbell in the ring with Joel "Dickless ***" Casamayor than Pacman right now.

 

If Casamayor boxes Pac and become the counter puncher I can't see a way he lose to Manny. If he brawls with Manny he'll get hurt and Manny will have a TKO.This fight would be like Manny vs JMM but the only difference is that Casamayor won't brawl that much with Manny and that what it takes to beat him.

 

i think pac would have preferred a katsidis victory. but i really think pac has a great chance against casamayor. casa was winded until he threw the punch that hurt katsidis.

i'd favor pac by KO late. i think pac punches stronger than katsidis and has a better chin.

 

i scored this fight rbr, and casa was well ahead on my score prior to the stoppage. I favor pac on this one, because pac has quick hand speed and has the one punch power unlike katsidis. Joel is already past his prime and the fight was katsidis could not be a basis because katsidis is nothing special and very limited. But then again casa is crafty but i'll still go with pac:good
