Casamayor vs Pac at 135lbs

Looking the face of both fighters Casa's power is very underrated he's got some pop I know Freddy Roach don't like the matchup Casa will counter Pac all night long talking about pressure is been with this locomotive named Kat is more than a pressure cooker.

 

Pac by very brutal knockout.

 

Pac is a better all-around boxer than Katsidis. I can't think of anything Katsidis does that is better than Pac. Pac would have Casa out of there somewhere in the 5-8 round range. This fight is a very easy choice

Casa can't withhold Pacquaio's pressure attack for 12 rounds. If Pacquaio hurts Casa early it's gonna be a short night for Casa. Kats was slow and yet was able to tag Casa after 4 rounds, Pacquaio can do more and much better than Kats. Casa is not a sound counter puncher like JMM . . . so he's gonna get hurt bad and going down.

EXACTLY what I am thinking. Katsidis had Casa hurt a couple of times and couldn't finish the job. Pac would surely finish him off once he's injured and it would only be a matter of time. I would guess in the 5-8 round range

 

After watching Casa-Kats, I pick PAC to defeat Casa. If Kats was able to KD Casa then there's a big chance PAC can also do it on Casa but with more lethal result since I consider PAC stronger and faster than Kats. Remember PAC is also an excellent finisher.

 

I don't think Pac would even need to break him down to stop him. Casamayor's performance was impressive, but only impressive because of how past-it he is. His reflexes have declined badly and he was nearly stopped on a number of occasions against Katsidis. Pac would blow him out early. He could fire punches from the outside that Casamayor wouldn't be able to react to fast enough and at this point, it doesn't take a very hard puncher to stop him. Pac's power at 135 will be more than enough to win by TKO early.

 

Probably true, but he surely wouldn't put Katsidis on his ass like Casa did.

 

Casa will turn old overnight...i'd favor Pac to win by late TKO.

 

Pac has average skills.He has speed and power. Pac has the style where he won't win convincingly on points against skilled boxers. Jmm and Morales showed that.Casa is a clever boxer. If he boxes well and not get caught.All Casa has to look out for is Pac's left hand. And he will have field day counter punching Pac. Maybe drop or TKO Pac.. Casa age is the only problem..

 

Pac and Casamayor is a great fight. Pac's power, resilence and relentless has often overwhelmed his opponents. Casamayor is a crafty veteran who has beaten the best at 135 lbs including Diego Corrales. Pac is younger but has never fought at 135 lbs. Casamayor is towards the end of his career, but is still awesome. It's hard to pick this one, but Pac is still at his prime, and this might just be good enough to win over Casamayor.
