Yes he would, especially because Katsidis only gets wilder and sloppier when he's losing or getting frustrated. Paulie's speed would destroy Katsidis.. he would constantly cut his face up and would be able to drop him with shots he wouldn't see coming.

 

I think Pac is in his prime and he will win this: Too good stamina, too tough.

However I think a prime Casamayor would beat pacquiao (easy).

Casa is shot...

 

Imo a prime casa makes Pac look like a fool, boxes his ears of and counters him to death.

 

A Raw Katsidis hurt Casa. Former Pac spar mate Sta Cruz Beat casa. Casa's older. Pac's Faster. Pac's comes in at 145 while Casa just 140. I want this fight now!!! Forget david Diaz!!!

Casa wins by KO ... he's a boxer, with decent power and the more natural lightweight.

Pac hasn't fought at 135 and might now fight at 135 ... he might not get past David Diaz ... don't just crown him before he fights.

If this past month has told us anything its that there are bigger upsets looming.

This isn't boxing where you say you're favorite fighter is going to win and it happens. The more people expect Pacquiao to knock someone a helluva lot bigger than him out, is when he himself gets knocked out.

Only Pac fans can pick him to win a fight by KO or UD ... its no consistancy

RJJ you expect him to win by UD everytime, the same with PBF, and Sweet Pea Whitaker.

Pac is not of that mold ... he's a power puncher w/ limited boxing skills ... he only throws one punch and he has poor balance.

He's not going to be tops in the lightweight division. There are 10 different fighters that can either outbox him or flat out knock him out ... he's not built for the weight class ... no matter how much he weighs in between fights.

Hell look at Hatton, Gatti and Baldomir who respectively get as much as 170 and 190 and that doesn't mean that they can campaign at lightheavy or cruiser -- it just means their fat outside of the ring.

What makes Pac so special that he can weigh 135-140 outside the ring and legit compete in those divisions?

He's started off at a lighter weight than Morales and Morales got knocked around by the light punching Zahir Raheem. (who is a light puncher compared to other lightweights but may puncher harder than most super feathers)

He's a jr fly compaigning at lightweight ... he's not that dope and he can't rely on boxing skills like boxers of the past.

He will fall to the same fait as Ricky Hatton !!

 

For the record Santa Cruz is a lightweighter campaigning at lightweight ... and Katsidis got knocked out so anything that happened before the knockout means nothing because it didn't go to the scorecards ... it was a stoppage.

Thats pretty much the way I see it. Late stoppage due to Casa slowing from the pressure or UD for PAC.

 

I think PAC wins this one because he is the younger, faster and stronger fighter...
