Casamayor would have beaten Mayweather

Watching Casa from his peak days, I really think he would have been a terrible match-up for Mayweather. Not only did he have tremendous skills, he had a style that a more agressive Mayweather at 130lbs would have struggled against.

Would definetly have been interesting, anyway.

Your right, it would have been interesting...but Casamayor doesn't beat Mayweather at 130lbs, 135lbs, or 140lbs.

Why do you keep telling people to log off? You say it all the time, any time you disagree with someone. Instead of actually debating the issue, you just churn out the same old "Log off" bull****.

Why don't you log off? You're a ****ing **** poster. You choose your favourites by their skin colour, have absolutely no idea about the styles in boxing and lack enough knowledge to break a fight down. You just search through this entire forum, looking at threads with a black American in the title and if anyone dares pick against them? "Log off!".

    You're a predictable ****.

I'm the furthest thing there is to a Floyd fan, but he was levels above Casamayor in every conceivable way. Casa to me is one of the most consistently underwhelming "elite" fighters I've ever watched. Mismatch.

Really? I think Casamayor was a very good, crafty technician and this would present a lot of problems for the agressive version of Floyd. There would be a lot of counter punches coming back at it, and I don't think he'd react too well against that. Obviously a big thing is the southpaw stance. Whilst you may not rate him too highly, he was certainly a lot better than Judah, whose stance alone gave Mayweather a lot of issues.

If Casamayor was orthodox, I'd agree. However, the southpaw stance makes this one really intriguing. I'd pick Casa on a very close decision.

How in the hell would Casa in a million years outbox PBF?:deal A guy who's better than him in every department and who would beat him at his own game Answer me that you ****ing know it all, so I can rip you a new *******.:hi: The very fact you started such an idiotic thread speaks volumes about you as a poster and shows your very transparent agenda and like I said before log off fool!

Anyone with a ounce of boxing knowledge knows that PBF would have been a nightmare for Casa period and especially at 130. PBF had too much lateral movement, hand speed, power and countering ability for Casa would have been overwhelmed, beaten at his own game and taken him apart.:deal This is the same Casa who went life and death with Frietas and Chico but yet he's going to give PBF hell? Child please.

I have to admit Casa was a very gifted fighter, but c'mon Floyd is still three steps ahead of him in every dept. The first 6 rounds "may" would have been competitive but Floyd would take over fully in the second half a stop Casa in 10 or 11 rounds at 130 lbs.

It was Judah's speed more than anything that initially gave Floyd problems. Which in some respects is precisely my point, because for a fighter that is so often labeled a top notch counter-puncher/slickster, Casamayor was one of the slowest, in my opinion.
