They say you can't control yourself in the heat of battle, like Mercer "couldn't" with Morrison but you can.. Post some examples, I'll start.. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2By0fIrTKkw"]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2By0fIrTKkw[/ame]
[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-UTGQKBgftE[/ame] Morales Cano, not sure if the actual part is in the video but I do recall Morales waving the ref over at one point.
Roy jones against Bryant Brannon. at 10:15 against Brannon: [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0-7Si8qSKCI[/ame]
Zab Judah displayed an uncharacteristic sense of fair play when he held back against Cory Spinks while waving in the ref. And it was a good thing because Spinks looked like he was about one punch away from a coma for a minute and a half before the fight was stopped.
Roy Jones over Pazienza. I remember him looking at the ref and backing off, and looking amazed he didn't stop it. Roy then finished him.
Ike Williams looked at the referee as if to say,"Do you want me to kill him?" Beau Jack was all but dead in the corner taking vicious blows before the ref finally stopped it. That was one brutal tko.
That ref was on a mental vacation. Williams was one of the meanest guys out there and even he paused for a second because he was beating Jack so bad.
Tarver against Harding in the rematch. Harding looked to be just about out of it after getting floored, and Tarver can clearly be seen shouting "NO!" and signaling that Harding was in no position to continue. But the fight did go on, at least until Tarver floored him a few seconds later..at which point Antonio didn't celebrate and instead berated the official for letting the fight go on.
