Long slow road and not well paid but a canny challenge. Interview by the Board then takes a couple of years of assessments of your scorecrards at ringside, then further interviews at BBofC HQ then probationary on the job assessing at local shows.
I was worried Booth was maybe a little shot as a fighter but this performance proves he's not. Casey fought hard and strong but Booth never lacked stamina or grit and looked a class act.:bbb

I was sat ringside, am being assessed as part of my BBBofC referee training. I had the fight 116-112 for Booth. Casey was strong and the aggressor throughout and the fight swung from one fighter to the next up until round 7 but Booth for me won the last 5 rounds by blocking the big shots on hs arms, slipping and rolling Casey then countering him very effectively. Casey had no lateral movement but the judges obviously scored for the agression but for me it has to be effective aggression. For me Booth was the winner. :bbb

Brits calling "robbery" for every decision they dont like. Thats not becoming tedious! (sarcasm alert)
