fights at that age will get old literally overnight, that’s why everyone wishes for one last hurrah.

Hopkins went the distance with Kovalev in his previous fight and just a year later gets knocked out of the ring embarrassingly. It happens.

Isn't Donaire like one of the oldest BW champion? I think that you know things decline and power the last to go. But for me his ring IQ has totally gone out the window. I could not believe the game plan was to take it to the INOUE early, whoa!! Absolute suicide. Would not have mattered Inoue too muy fuerte, muy rapido.

 

Hopkins lost to Jermain Taylor twice when he was Donaires age. Hopkins at 40 was a shell of his former self.

 

Why wouldn't he take it to Inoue early? He broke Inoue's eye socket and he rightfully thought that Inoue would be timid and overly cautious. Getting to Inoue early and trying to break that eye again was not a bad game plan and it was his best shot. Unfortunately for Nonito, Inoue is made of something different and didn't run and actually brought the fight right back to him like in the first fight.

I thought Rungundeaux was the oldest BW world champion? That goes to show how poor this division is. If a 39 year old pushing 40 is a champion,OMG. Really? you have got to be kidding. Quabalo must be a horrific boxing champion in BW history.

 

See this is a STOOPID game plan. This is baxxing the sweet science. You can't brawl with a young stronger boxerer when you are past it. Think about it. You are 39 oldest boxing BW champion and clearly a tick slower..Nonaire was done 2 years ago to be honest. He looked horrific in several fights i seen. Can't pull the trigger. Somehow he managed to win a 118 belt beating on these midget he dwarfs lol.

 

Ooubali was a terrible champion. Like a terrible paper champion. Not all champions are made equal.

Donaire looked like an old man. Even if you can’t tell right away. Reflexes, speed, legs need only be 10-20% down to be the difference between landing first vs getting ktfo.

Pac still looked like a fantastic old man. But his reflexes was that much slower, his legs shot, sluggish. Couldn’t beat a basic as fk Ugas. People get old overnight.

 

Definitely older but can punch a far cry from the opponents he has fought that can't crack an egg. He really needs to go and get some names on his resume. The American slickness or Mexican warriors. He is a talent but I still question the opps he is against. Not exactly the prime creme of creme.
