  1. 2 ATGs,
    2 GR8 Primes!

Who wins in 1 heavyweight BATTLE ?
I wud take 1 atg like Bowe over Clay m'self.
    Bowe had all the "capabilities",
    to beat Clay.
All the physical advantages, a long left jab , awesome hooks, and 1 excellent right cross.
brilliant combos, heart, chin, and incredible will .

Clay had no inside game , he could not tie Bowe up , he cud not beat Bowe at 1 outside game . to me Clay gets brutalized and punished after 5 rounds . Only his steel heart and "chin" wud keep him in the "match". MAYBE , clay wud go 1 distance .

I've got to go with Bowe here.

Who had Ali beaten by '63? I mean, sure, he'd dealt with Doug Jones, but aside from that? Just nobodies like George Logan and Henry Cooper.

    Bowe KO 7.

Bowe put on a clinic, completely and utterly dominates him,and even throws in his own variation of the Ali shuffle before Clay looks for a way out by repeatedly smashing 'Big Daddy' in his big black balls.

  6. ? I don't understand m8

crosstrainer, 1 good post, but I have 1 problem.
Cooper was no "nobody", he was 1 good contender, and gave clay hell , clay rly shud not have won , if he was not saved by 1 bell and by 1 smelling salts. even then , he 1 by cuts . Cooper , was 1 good fighter, underrated skills , and power.
he was no "alltime great", but atleast better than,
    "clay" at one point .

Now you're trying to inflate Ali's resume. :nono

Men like Pierre Coetzer and Larry Donald would have run through Ali's pre-title opposition like a hot knife through butter.

  8. 4 wat it's worth , clay alrdy got loads of contenders on his resume , and great fighters , so no need 4 the garbage .

Cooper was obviously 1 hell of 1 fighter , he did beat folley and other contenders , and I do think that 1 PRIME. Cooper , wud beat Donald , and Coetzer is too unpredictable .

Ali only beat them because of luck and smelling salts.

  10. Not true m8.

    this was only reported "once",
And I do not "remember" one other time clay wa brutally kd'd,
    and saved by 1 bell.

Hello 'Enery. How's your 'Ammer ? You mention these two men's primes. You're right on the money with Bowe's being in 1991/92. However, the Cassius Clay circa 1962/63 was not a prime Muhammad Ali. Cassius was still growing at that juncture, physically and as a fighter. I'd still back him to beat a peak Bowe. If an overweight and over the hill Tony Tubbs can give a peak Bowe serious problems with his movement, then a far faster Cassius Clay,as was, could give him fits !

Yes 'Clay' would never be able to replicate the performance of the great Tony TNT Tubbs

Enry? What are your thoughts on your son's recent comeback? I think he can take Vitali in decemeber! He has the power! He has the funk! He has the balls! I think your son, "The Count" Sir Bert Cooper will be Vitali's first real test and he will fail badly.
