    Give me a break

As if you havent come across many of his good deeds in all those articles you read, that many of us haven't heard about, but would love to hear. You skip the positive, and only give us the negative. When the positive is bountiful.

    Tsk pathetic.

The young and handsome Cassius Clay will be fighting Alonzo Johnson next, as he has a signed contract for a Televised Fight.

Mr. Lincoln, will continue to pursue a fight with 1960 Olympic Gold Medal Winner.

Actually, Amos Lincoln was not surprised one-bit by Muhammad Alis' victory
over Sonny Liston in Lewiston, Maine.

Amos talked to Jimmy Ellis after a sparring session with Sonny.
And Ellis was impressed with Lincoln's dominance over Sonny.
Amos told Jimmy Ellis, Muhammad would be able to land the right hand over Liston's
    lazy left anytime he wanted.
The punch was there for the taking,,,,,,,,,,,,

Wrong,,,,,,,Wilfred Benitez one of my favorite fighters. I was rooting for him 'big time' against Ray Leonard.

Great fighter, but I just thought Pipino was a little better at the younger age, well at least more dominant in his wins.

Wilfred had a remarkable career, but he did get a gift win over Bruce Curry
in his first fight, which I saw at MSG. Other than that, a winner all the way.

Muhammad Ali was 'The Greatest',,,,,,,,,,so Amos Lincoln called him out,
how the hell is that anti-Ali.

Your choice of bits of information to share to this board is anti-Ali.

If a tribune reporter wrote about the civil rights movement solely from the white societies point of view, that is still telling the facts. But it is also showing favoritism and bias.

In your case, your giving us facts, but your not giving us the other side of the picture.

It was nothing more than an old article, describing Amos Lincoln as a possible
    force in the Heavyweight Division.

Lincoln's frustration at getting a decent fight. He was forced to scramble to get fights.
And was avoided by some of the guys in the Top 10, and up and coming guys.

His chirping did get him a fight with Ernie Terrell, which he lost.
Like many others, he wanted a fight with the young Cassius, before he got a Title Fight.

This post is in no-way an attack on Muhammad Ali, not sure how you can decipher that.

Well,,,,,,,,I guess I can't post the Italian Newspaper article,
about Franco De Piccoli wanting to fight Cassius Clay either.

I think a better analogy would be,,,,,
"I'm drawing a line in the dirt, and I dare you to cross it."

...Clay's currently ducking both Klitschko brothers and Allan Green. What kind of heavyweight ducks a super middleweight?
