Castillo-Corrales 1: May 7, 2005

    It was 5 years ago that Castillo-Corrales 1 took place in Las Vegas, what a fight it was!!!!. WBC/WBO titles on the line and both landing punches right from the opening bell. Corrales landed 65% of his punches while Castillo landed 45%, it was 2005 Ring Magazine Event of the Year. At stoppage time, two judges had Corrales ahead(86-85, 87-84) and the other had Castillo 87-84, who was winning on your scorecards??

    Umm you have to be talking about their first fight, the rematch didnt last very long....

    Love the way Castillo laid out Corrales with a counter left hook in the rematch... while he was leaning back! That's what should've happened in the 1st fight if it wasn't for all that mouthpiece crap Corrales pulled.

    Goodtimes!!! I was with my ex girlfriend watching this in disbelief and was telling her how sick and amazing this fight was, i jumped up and down at the end and she thought that I was seriously disturbed :lol:
