Wasn't Castillo able to do it again in the rematch ? quite simply if the man who set the blueprint to beat Floyd couldn't emulate it again then why do people say other fighters should look to that as the way to beat Floyd?

There's no blueprint to beat Mayweather whatsoever!

There is a blueprint to scared him though. You just knock Cotto down.

It's the closest anyone ever came to beating Floyd so that talk will be natural.

"Blueprint" talk is irrelevant though because that happened back in 2002 and he's fought plenty of smart and great fighters since then.

that blueprint talk is foolish, like floyd is gonna come out and fight the same way he did in that fight, like floyd wont realize the mistakes he made in that fight and switch it up. Even for this fight with canelo watching the oscar and cottos fight to figure out how to get mayweather, like mayweather is going to fight that same exact way and do the same things, even floyds sparring partners say that they could spar floyd today, then spar him tomorrow and he will fight completely different.

Because Floyd underestimated Castillo in the first fight, gameplanned better in the second fight, and didn't mind stinking out the gym as he won via refusing to engage at all with his speed advantage on Castillo. The blueprint Castillo set out is still valid though.

I remember back then everyone giving Pretty Boy so much **** because they were absolute certain he would not give Castillo a rematch (especially HBO). Then he gives him an immediate rematch and whoops his ass. It was as if everyone was certain Floyd would duck him. Fast forward 10 years later, and people are still saying he is ducking this or ducking that. To me, that is a testament to his greatness.

Canelo is the first fighter to realize that there is no blueprint as he will adjust so you need to have a wide variety of well developed tactics and mix them up for as long as you can.

Floyd looked bad because he had shoulder trouble.

Have you even watched the second fight? Sure Mayweather won but it was neither a clinic nor a walk in the park for Floyd. Mayweather won by moving more than he did in the first fight but he still probably lost a minimum of 4 rounds.
