    The commission should step in and stop this fight from happening Provo is a big puncher and JLC is a warrior he will take a lot of punishment and needs to be saved from himself. Damn shame really.

    why didn't the commission step in when Garcia was fighting a underweight school boy who was clearly out of his depth?

    i remember when people was saying this when morales took the maidana fight exact same thing and morales gave FOTY performance

    Morales never looked as bad as JLC has and is younger and has had less fights. JLC hasn't looked good in years and hasn't beaten anyone of note in years.

    jlc is coming from 2 wins morales has been in much more gruelling wars

    but if you was here when morales signed to fight maidana posters been saying the same thing you been saying

    And has had trouble making weight as well, which only increases the danger of this fight. The fact that this bout has any apologists at all is utterly mindblowing to me, as is the fact that everyone will simply accept whatever Provodnikov's manager and promoter say as the truth.

    Yes he has had trouble making weight, which makes it even worse. It sucks that Provo can't really find good opponents not Provo's fault but IMO he couldve fought someone else. Provo will take his frustrations out on JLC come fight night. I don't understand why people want a guy like JLC to take more punishment at the hands of a big puncher like Provo?

    Was it Roberto Ortiz that Matthysse knocked out in the second round recently? He seemed to desire a big fight more than most, based on what I read... I'm sure he probably would have taken the fight...

    Castillo is an easy payday with a pre-determined outcome (a Provodnikov win inside the distance).
