I scored it a close victory for Floyd when I actually did a RBR. Can't remember the exact score.

I scored the fight a draw, because I thought Mayweather landed the better and cleaner shots in the eleventh round. Everything else on my card was the same as yours. You could make a case case for Mayweather winning round five and/or ten, at which point he would have the edge on the cards.

Certainly not a robbery, or even all that bad a decision, all things considered. I've seen a lot worse.

Yeah, is round 8 where they went punch 4 punch at the end of the round? cant remember, if so, that round was very close.

I know I did not score one, but didn't Mayweather also have a point taken? cant remember but for some reason I keep thinking he did.

Yeah in round 10...but in my opinion, Mayweather was clearly winning that round so I scored it a 9-9.

No matter how you saw the fight, being objective, you can't say Castillo beat Floyd because he missed too many punches. A fight like this where Castillo landed to the body, and Floyd landed to the head, fans see the head shots landing. He just didn't land cleanly on Floyd, but he did rough Floyd up, and at times hit low. Had Castillo had a natural right hand, this fight turns out differently imo...

How did anyone give the 11th to Young Mayweather? Floyd decided to go play "Castillo's game", and JLC clearly outlanded him there. Floyd had the cleaner work, but that was it.

Judging from the amount of intensity they fought the 12th with and their reactions after the closing bell, both guys felt like they did enough to win.

I had 115-113 in favor of Castillo despite I'm a Mayweather fan. I think the fight could end up either way. But my only concern in that fight is how three judges could have three scorered that way in favor of Mayweather in a fight so close. Even a 116-111 was scored that night!

I mean, how could you score that if the boxer trying to take away the belt from the champion is running all night with his jab? Doesnt' make sense to me, plus he landed way less punches and get cought with great power punch in the body all night.

I agree the outcome could end up either ways...

But Ihmo if it ends up 116-111 Mayweather with the punchings stats like that, either the judges had an agenda or I can't score a fight.

It's not a robbery because Mayweather doesnt deserve the win but just because the way it been scored... Imo again

    Sorry for my basic english

Last note: Like Kellerman said in Hopkins/Calzague: To score a round, I ask myself in which shoes I rather be in... In castillo/Mayweather I, in most of rounds, I would rather be in Castillo's shoes definitivly. Mayweather was scared of Castillo's power, especially in the corners. He refused the exchange until 11th round because he felt he had to do something else to get some round. In the other side, I never felt in the fight Castillo was in trouble, it's pro fight, you can't get away with only jab...(Edit)

I've scored this bout 3-4 times, and I think the 11th round has been back and forth everytime.

Today I scored it for Mayweather, I didn't see him outlanded...I saw him stay in the pocket and blocking punches, although Castillo was working the body well. Mayweather definitely had the cleaner work.

If I were to give the 11th to Castillo, Mayweather would still be up by 1 point on my card...and I'm pretty sure I will have scored it that way before.

i had it for floyd by a point or two (one of the later rounds was really close and could have gone either way). its crazy how people use the HBO team as a reference only when it agrees with their agenda...The Ring's Doug Fischer, who hates Floyd with a passion, scored the fight for Mayweather by a point. I dont always agree with his views, but i find pretty much all of his scorecards to be accurate...the problem with this was the scoring, but the right man did win the fight. with that being said, I could understand an 8-4 victory for floyd or a 7-5 victory for castillo, which IS NOT A ROBBERY, IT WAS A CLOSE FIGHT
