I did not see much difference between the 1st and 2nd fights. I scored both fights a draw. Castillo started stronger than in the 1st fight and Mayweather finished stronger. Close fight as was evidenced by the judges and Lederman's scorecard.
I don't think you're necessarily off base on anything there, but this: "evidenced by the judges and Lederman's scorecard..." - is never good to say.
i see your point but i think in the 2nd fight, the general consensus is there were more clear-cut rounds for either fighter which is reflected in the consistent scorecards, although thats not always the case e.g. hopkins-taylor 2

I agree with you on this topic and have brought this up before I usually find myself scoring both fights in line with the judges. Fight I is only close if you give Castillo both point deduction rounds fight II was and is the actual close fight 115-111(I) 116-113 (II) or something along thoses lines.
