ricky said when it landed he felt his body shurder as well and said he wasnt going to get up....if he did get up i would of jumped over those ropes and gone home lol LEG-END
hatton raises his game for the big fights, that's why a lot of people will be suprised when he fights mayweather
The question is how good Castillo was at 140lbs after a long career, his wars with Corrales and having never fought a good fighter above 135lbs. The answer seems to be Castillo is a level below Urango and Collazo (both average) at this stage of his career Hatton hasn't fought many top10 fighters at any weight, many fighters in their prime, many boxers who have good defenses or many boxers with any real speed Now he has done very well against who hes fought but there are question marks
It was a good shot by Hatton. However, didn't Castillo complain of rib injuries as one of the reasons for failing to make weight in the Corrales fights. Maybe he got tagged in a place that was previously injured and never fully healed. Just a thought.
Castillo could have got up but he was certainly hurt. HE may have though he would have been seriously KOd if he got up and fought '**** this my purse is being withheld by that Goosen twat anyway'. How do we know Castillo had broken ribs? He said so - and hes hardly going to admit he packed it in, is he? Maybe he had broken ribs, maybe he didnt, we'll never know. The curious thing is Castillo got fined a point unfairly prior to the KD for landing his own legal bodyshots that hurt Hatton. Everything seemed to be piling up against him. He was losing the rounds, he'd lost a point, Goosen was sueing him so his purse for Hatton was on hold, we was weight drained.....If he did pack it in, its understandable Interesting side note is Mayweather has fought and won with broken ribs
I heard that line about Castillos problems straight after the fight and didn't buy it then either. He was getting caught with that hook all fight and the last big one did him in. No mystery, no conspiracy....just decent left hooks from a world class, 140lb body puncher.
He certainly does and that is why I have so much uncertainty on Mayweather-Hatton as both seem to be each others kryptonite Hatton doesn't like faster fighters, getting beat to the punch, being made to miss. His management has steered him clear of Mayweather type fighters. Mayweather doesn't like pressure and being forced to fight every miniute of every round on the inside or defending against combination punchers I pick a Mayweather UD but I wouldn't be too suprised if Hatton pulls off the win. Equally I wouldn't be suprised if Mayweather wins every single round - its that kind of match up and that makes it interesting
How do we know Mayweather hurt his shoulder/ribs in his first fight with JLC? He said so- hes hardly going to admit he struggled to beat Castillo 100% healthy is he:yep They were low shots, not in the danger area but they were low. And listen to the interview after, Hatton clearly says "he has a habit of hitting low so i wanted to get the ref on his back early, because as the 12 rounds go on they really take there toll". Are you Castillo or something? You seem to come up with some seriously deluded thoughs, hes a warrior that would never quit unless he was seriously hurt.
