Castillo won that first fight by several points. PBF was all defense and no offense. To his credit he came back and edged out the rematch but that first fight he clearly lost.
*i agree... long time boxing fan here... anyone who's not biased saw Castillo beat May... i remember calling a buddy right before the decision saying"May lost"... it was a bad decision.
Castillo won the 5th round. He landed 3-4 body shots 2 which were huge to Floyd's left side. The first one was with 1:04 left ( thudding you could hear it ringside) and the second one was with :40 seconds left. Floyd even gave JC the respect and followed him to his corner to give him props. From that round on Floyd slowed down and gave away almost all of the following rounds. It was something Castillo learned from sparring 5 years with J Chavez. Working the body. It is not coincidence Floyd's output and speed stopped the second half of the fight.
Total Punches in Round 5 Castillo 40 landed 16 - 40% Floyd 41 landed 13 - 32% and again the most important shots of the fight are in this round at 1:04 and :40 seconds left to go in the round. Round 5 = 10-9 Castillo. Ledderman also had it the same.
obviously you are one of those fans that lets the HBO Announcing team and Compu Box number mind **** you. The entire round Floyd landed flush punches on Castillo at will.
obviously you are one of those fans that lets the HBO Announcing team and Compu Box number mind **** you. The entire round Floyd landed flush punches on Castillo at will, its a clear round for Floyd, please.
lol. So just magically Floyd slowed down and gave away the late rounds and the body shots in round 5 did not land on Floyd ? Anybody can see for themselves.
