Floyd won the fight. He didn't stand and fight enough for his critics so they say he lost. People who rewatched this fight now know that Floyd didn't lose lmao. Shock value *******s lmao!!!

I also think Floyd should have fought in the pocket more with Castillo. He had some good succes there in the 11th

 

Floyd was HBOs rising star, but even its commentators acknowledged Castillo took that 0 from Floyd. 41-0 is more like 40-0-1 or 40-1. 41-0 is about as real as milli vanilli You Know It Aint True!

 

There was one nice counter on the top of the head. it had no effect on Castillo.
The three body shots changed the fight. When a fighter lands more and at a better rate and lands the most damaging blows of the fight he should win the round IMO. Nothing wrong with scoring rd. 5 for Castillo.

The comes Round 6 a huge Round for Castillo. He landed the biggest shot to Floyd's head and another huge body shot.
He landed 24 to Floyd's 12 in power shots. Rd 5 & 6 10-9 Castillo. Now way you can deny Round 6 to Castillo.

Did you listen to the Commentators? They were biased toward Cstillo the whole fight even in the early rounds that Floyd swept. also Merchant was hating on Floyd even before the Castillo fight

 

No way. JLC landed and connected as many punches as Floyd did and was just as effective. Floyd just looked flashier, but it was a pretty even round and nice uppercut by Castillo. Even Lampley said it was a good round by Castillo. Tge thing is its not just because Jlc outlanded Floyd but like Floyd Jlc did alot of effective punching that got Floyds attention. Draw would of been fair, but Floyd did not win this fight.

 

Nu uh Im talking about the 1rst fight buddy I know what happened in the rematch no one is disputing that dont change the subject *****s always try to pull that one when they cornered. Maybe you need to watch The Count on Sesame Street so you could learn how to add punches landed in a fight.

I remember Merchant hating on Floyd when he was dissing on Gatti but then thats when all the hate started on Floyd. Floyd didnt have many high profile wins up to that point he beat Corrales, Hernandez, and Chavez, but none were considered on Castillos level plus Castillo was on a hotstreak cleaning out the division that had many talented fighters among them Floyd. **** even I thought Floyd was going to win, but he didnt deserve that decision. That was a gift.
