    21 *****'s.

You have to stretch to give Floyd a single round after round 4, with 11 being very competitive and can give him that. Castillo won.

    Mayweather won rounds 1-5 easy.

If you think Castillo won every single round after the 5th, then sure, you'd have a score for Castillo.

But I've watched this fight many times in its entirety and I always come up with 2 of those final 7 rounds for Mayweather, thus a Mayweather victory.

    Mayweather Castillo
Rd 1. Mayweather. Mayweather scored a few more light punches. No real action.
Rd 2. Castillo. Feet tangled and Castillo went down. Clash of heads. Castillo more aggressive landing more punches. Mayweather confused.
Rd3. Even. Roughly even punches landed. Castillo aggressive forcing Floyd to the ropes.
Rd4. Castillo. Messy castillo holding and hitting. Mayweather out of rhythm.
Rd5. Castillo. Castillo bullies Mayweather to the ropes and punishes the body.
Rd6. Castillo. Castillo really put a hurt on Mayweather this round. Volume body punching. Pushed him down at one point, but no knockdown.
Rd7. Castillo. Castillo landed the hardest bombs up to now. Mayweather holds on and Castillo continues to pound him in the clinch.
Rd8. Mayweather2. Mayweather 2 point round because Castillo was deducted a point for punching during the break.
Rd9. Even. Roughly even punches landed. Ref spoils most of the action.
Rd10. Castillo2. Mayweather had the best of the early part of the round but Castillo got the last half. Then the ref deducted a point from Mayweather for elbows and shoving, but it was probably to even things and for Mayweather hitting after the bell in the previous round. Also, he should have given castillo a warning for punching Mayweather in the back.
    Rd11.even
    Rd12. Castillo.

i couldn't care less about Floyd, but i did have him winning the first fight by 2 points.

because it was close, that in turn allows those who hate Floyd to convince themselves Castillo won the fight. it's the same old, same old....

when Floyd loses (if), we'll be here to see it. not until though.

Why so low? Think it about it this way. Floyd is pretty clearly the fighter of the last decade. 2004-2014. If we go back to 1900, there have been 11 decades.

Does anyone from 2004 on rank above him? Probably not, only contender is Pacquiao. So your ranking must be extremely front-loaded to have Floyd that low. This indicates a bias towards previous eras, no?

You cant shoulder roll a body shot.
Castillo's shots to the body were precise and educated.

Castillo gave away the first 5 rounds imo by not throwing punches.
As soon as he started to let his hands loose he was getting to Mayweather's body.
To late a start though, I had it 7-5 Mayweather.

mayweather i think stated he hurt his shoulder at around round 5 so it might be worth a thought that mayweather was the reason castillo was not punching? just a thought

Mayweather might have hurt his shoulder or hands somewhere during the fight, but I dont buy that its the reason that Castillo got his.

During the rounds Castillo was getting his, Mayweather was still manuevering the ring well, shooting sharp with the jab, and pottshoting from the outside like he always does.
The key for Castillo came when he started hurting Mayweather to the body. Mayweather cant shoulder roll those shots, and when those started landing, it opened up the avenue for Castillo to land to the head as well as Mayweather began to cover up his midsection, leaving his head open.

I believe that Mayweather just gameplanned alot better in the rematch allready knowing what Castillo could bring to the table.

so in your opinion you think floyd could not change his gameplan/style on the fly or in the middle of the fight and thats why floyd won the rematch decisively but could not do so in the first ?
