Castillo's purse to be withheld!

He deserves to lose his entire ****ing purse just because he couldn't make weight? He already paid for not making weight with the fair punishments of being fined, and being banned from the lightweight division, yet he stills needs to get ****ed with for something he attempted, but was incapable of doing?

 

If Castillo was fighting one of Shaw's other fighters, I GUARANTEE you he would not do this. It is a blatant and sad attempt to save his public image in the wake of very serious allegations that Shaw has done next to nothing for Chico's family, and also to **** up a big money fight being done by rival promoters.

Castillo has no ruling against him in the suit, so them doing this is total ****ing bull****.

 

WTF does the Casa fight have to do with it? atsch There's no bias from me on this.

Castillo's weight problem COST them an agreed upon third fight remember. They all lost out on money because of that. His actions voided the CONTRACT and is responsible. I know it sucks, but that's how the world works when it comes to business especially with contracts that they sign.

Also, there should at least be an equitable payment arrangement even WHEN the judgement comes down. We all know that JLC didnt make weight and was wrong but this is INSANE. Imagine ALL FINES and PENALTIES in court cases due before judgement is made

I've been biting my lip out of respect for Corrales, but let's not let his death overshadow the fact that he was no angel. The first time Castillo didn't make weight, he didn't HAVE to take the fight, but he wanted that big purse, so he did. And as already pointed out, let's also not forget that Corrales failed to make weight against Casamayor.

 

i definitely won't be surprised now when jlc's doesn't make weight for this fight.

But the suit has not gone to trial. Shaw is just being a total dick to avoid paying any money to Chico's family out of his own pocket. Shaw is a ****ing snake, and has been for years. How many fighters have left him now? The list is quite long.

 

And it's only WITHHELD, not taken from him for now.

He will most likely fight because he is a warrior but with all this variables I will not be suprised if the fight gets pulled off.

I know JLC was wrong but so is this "judgement", what about Castillo's family??? There should be some sort of equitable payment arrangement, not this HORSE****!!!
