You're comparing a couple thigns that aren't even comparable. I always hated Zab, but he won me over by showing toughness and never stopped trying to win. He also could have acted a fool after the low blow. But he didn't.

Castillo failing to make weight and his teams actions, and then the cancellation of the THIRD fight were bad for the sport.

 

Yes, but don't you find it funny that Chico did not recieve anywhere near the **** that JLC did for the 2nd Chico fight?

The 3rd Chico fight, I can understand. But Castillo is ALWAYS the underdog, which at this point is a bit ridiculous considering his accomplishments. People on here and in the media brush aside his resume, and constanly pay attention to the weight thing. The guy doesn't look great against Ngdou, and all of a sudden he is old and finished. Never Mind the fact that he has only lost one fight in the last several years, and that was one of the greatest fights in the history of the sport.

 

But Zab gets a pass from most because of his "talent". Several of the things he has done has been bad for the sport as well (attacking Jay nady, the riot at the PBF fight, consistenly getting his ass kicked, etc.)

If JLC had done any of these things, he would be crucified. But all Zab gets is more title shots.

 

I remember a bunch of threads started on how Chico was a hypocrite.

Chico also didn't have someone on his team stick their foot UNDER THE SCALE TO INTENTIONALLY CHEAT. :-( Or come back after trying to lose the few pounds weight WEIGHING MORE. :deal

 

True indeed, but he still came nowhere close to 135. He also lost the ensuing fight.

At least castillo won his.

Also, there were many threads on here feeling sorry for Chico and saying he lost the fight because he was weight drained.

I think there is bias against Mexican fighters in general including Castillo, Soto, Margarito, Marquez and even a bit against Barrera.

 

Fighting for free is a chance to cement legacy!

Castillo shouldn't bother fighting. No point risking your life for that creep Shaw to line his pockets. Those scumbags can't take what you don't have.

Shaw is a ****ing piece of ****. He underpaid Corrales for a while and bold faced lied about it, saying the guy earned millions. But explain why he only took home about $200,000 from a fight that was supposed to be one of his richest fights? And why the guy died broke? Shaw is a crook. That fat *******.

 

Obviously the timing of this is the most ****ed up part about this.
