Casual Fans asking me about GGG buzz about PPV at All time high

It would be good for Gloveking if he does numbers like that, bad for the people who hoped PPV would die a slow death after Floydypants retired.

 

i am a big fan of golovkin but come on man if it does 600 000 buys im going to run around naked in new york

Lets face the reality this is GGG's first ppv fight mayweather first drew 300 cotto and canelo who have been on ppv more then once can only draw 300 000 max without may and pac

600 000 buys are mayweather and Pacquaio numbers

This fight does 200 000/300 000 buys which would be a big success

 

I think majority of people hope PPV will die,and it's not about Floyd.too much of a trend for big names.

Floyd PPV'S against Pac,Canelo etc are okay.but where things go wrong,is when we have Berto,Guerrero,Algieri,Rios,Lemieux,Angulo etc on PPV.

I'm cool with Cotto-Canelo being on PPV.and winner of that against(probably GGG) on PPV.

I'm only against PPV's where the opponent is "no hoper"

Lemieux is good,but not a PPV material.

People only think OMG this is PPV and megaevent so Lemieux has to be amazing.

I haven't seen single poster pulling for Lemieux.the only question and arguing point is,in what round GGG stops Lemieux.

 

And to add,i don't think Cotto or Canelo has a chance.but there are LOT of delusional people who think they have.

Lot like when i mentioned Floyd PPV against Pac and Canelo.

 

premature. once the GGG $$$ era has arrived people will be looking to fight him, not going out their way to duck him. just hope he's an honourable cash cow and doesnt drain the **** out of his opponents/cripple them at the negotiation table

 

If I had any damn money right now, I'd totally buy it. Awesome card, and I'm thinking this will be a good fight.

 

Ronda Rousey is a lot more popular though. And there were like 20,000 fights on the card.

But I agree. People are more willing to spend money on PPV than most think. It's only 50$.

 

That's odd I know of no casuals talking about this fight. Even my circle (other than me aren't really all that up for it) I think it's a good fight, not a fan of Golovkin or David so I don't care who wins, but I think it is a good fight. It's not going to do 600K though.

Ronda is a pop culture icon, she's far more than just a fighter. Golovkin will never get to her status.

 

Anything above 300k will be a massive success. People dishing out 500, 600k numbers are smoking something.

 

Break even is a bit over 100k.

200k is a hit, and 300k is a home run.

600k is a pipe dream IMO.
