Not a good fight for boxing on the global level. UFC is laughing at boxing again. Im embarassed I ordered that shameful fight. Shame on both fighters. Shameful ref . Just wasnt a good night. Left a bad taste in my mouth.

10 years from now ufc will be most popular combat sport in USA and most people now already think so . UFC is growing and growing etc.. And we boxing fans wait 16 month to see that 4 round circus act. Its all just a money grab. Its gross. Ufc can go anywhere and pack staduims on the reg and do so all the time. Its a powerful brand.

Nothing good came from the fight last night. Pbf didnt talk pacman or martinez. So really boxing isnt getting what it really needs

    What you guys think.

Last night was a great card. Great under card fights. Mayweather put on a mini clinic, KOed his man. Great fight to me. UFC may be popular, but that's only because whie America can relate to it more. There are hardly any American caucasian fighters of note in boxing.

most people seem to feel ripped off including myself. We'll see how the ppvs numbers flow next time around. I'm guessing down vs every opponent other than pacman. UFC's big chance to steal the spotlight is now. Let's see how Cain fight on fox plays out :deal

Yesterday I watched the Mayweather card at my local watering hole and there were ALOT more people for this event than there are for the UFC events. I think boxing still has a much more diverse audience, UFC might be winning the 18-24 year old white male demo but boxing is killing overall. Also, I dunno what you pay in the US but the usual UFC cards cost around $35, yesterdays boxing card with 3 world titles on the line and two future hall of famers was $20...that's bang for ya buck right there.

Yes. But then what? Once that fight is done boxing has next to nothing on the horizon. Maybe that is why they are stalling in the making of this fight. Boxing was my first love for like the first 33 years of my life, but sad to say I really think it is on it's way to becoming a minority sport kept alive for historical reasons.

No it doesn't. Indeed its better for boxing long term if it doesn't happen.
