Casuals are hyped for Eubank Jnr v Benn, hardcores not so much

Not all boxing fans are beer chugging chavs. Most, granted, but not all.

 

It's a woeful fight.

 

Here we go again. I don't get why people bang on about casual fans, what's the big deal?

Guess what, I've been a huge boxing fan since I was 6-7 years old.....and I'm looking forward to this fight. Shocking 'eh.

 

Would I rather Benn vs Thurman and Eubank vs Charlo? Yes of course. However I'm still interested in watching the fight, styliscally it's bound to be an entertaining fight for however long it lasts.

 

It's the biggest fight in British boxing outside of Fury Joshua whether people like it or not. The Matchroom "face-off" did 900,000 views already for example. It will do a lot of PPV buys for DAZN for sure.

 

I just don’t see the point. Either Eubank makes the weight ok and wins easily, or he goes in the ring a zombie and Benn wins. Neither scenario excites me, and the latter is dangerous and will make the sport look bad.

I will watch it but can't say I'm not exactly excited by it. Think both are overrated and let's be honest unless Eubank breaks a leg in the ring he will win by stoppage. Casuals buying into it being a 50/50 fight lol.

 

I do wonder how much it being on DAZN PPV is going to affect the buys.
I think quite a bit.

 

The only uncertainty is whether the drained CEJ will have enough energy to blast out Benn.

Take away their surnames and this fight should really be at the York Hall on a Friday.

 

I totally agree. If Eubank Jr. is not completely destroyed by sitting in a sauna wrapped in plastic and rain gear, he wins easily.

In reality, this is a miss match.

 

Although I'm sure it was popular I would trust matchroom social media 'views' about as far as I could throw Andy Ruiz

 

Benn is better than Charlo P4P but untested above welter, more interested in Benn v Thurman than Charlo v Eubank.
