Casual fans are ok as long as they keep they're rubbish wild, diverse and interesting.

Constantly explaining to them that Tyson isn't the greatest boxer ever is irritating.

Oh no. How mean. Someone disagrees with Rob and he cries like a baby. How predictable.

Same as your crying fit about the tbr over on check hook. You must be a very sad, frustrated young man. I promise though, you'll grow out of it.

Like clockwork, Monday morning...did you see the Froch fight?! No **** cared about Froch back in the days of Jermain Taylor and Jean Pascal. Proud to have supported him his whole career.

Plenty of similar comments from casuals pre Hatton v Floyd. A lot had never even heard of Floyd and thought it was just a routine day's work for our boy Ricky.

All my friends the other day were like: 'Fury would DESTROY Klitschko'...

After the Olympics I overheard a discussion in which a group of middle aged men all agreed that Anthony Joshua should "fight Klitschko next" !

They didn't get the difference between pro and amateur or realise that there are two Klitschko's but they were all extremely confident that Joshua would win that fight!

Shocking. The casual curse has no age limit, my dear old uncle, who's in his 70's, ain't got a ****ing clue bless him, it was only a few months back when he asked me when Frank Bruno was fighting next?

We need casuals, it raises the profile...can't ask for anything more.

Everyone was a "casual" at some point so can't have a go at them really, I watch other sports sometimes I don't have a clue about and probably ask equally stupid questions to fans of that sport. It's just when they try and argue with you but don't have a clue that it starts to get irritating, best to just play along, "of course mate, Mayweather would definitely have beaten Lennox Lewis" !

Boxing may need casual fans in its life, but I don't and what I want is all that matters.
