I class myself somewhere between a casual and the very knowledgeable fans you find on here.
I watch most of the fights I can and read the rewiews on the ones I can't see. I probably have a peep on esb once or twice a day and check out the forum daily.
Some of the fans on the forum I find my informative as I have never boxed and know f... All about the technical side of boxing.
Other knowledgable fans on here would put anyone off boxing. If they are not trying to brow beat someone with their opinion then they personally insulting someone.

That is how I would define a "casual Carl Froch" fan

    Not a boxing casual fan

    The Casual:

A person who likes the concept of boxing or "fighting" in its purest terms (the latter), but lacks passion or technical understanding to take the fondness to an enthusiast level.

The casual may have certain habits such as; knowing little but talking lots, only watching boxing when engaging in alcohol and the proceeding to shout out absurd, meaningless statements, singing "There's only one Ricky Hatton" and so on ……………

A casual is generally the guy sat behind you in the stadium who is bloody annoying

Biggest problem i notice on forums is all anyone does is criticize ever fighter.
They say hes a bum or hes scared to fight this guy etc. this fighter is a useless or he has a glass chin or everyone from this countries a bum . I think most on here dont like boxing. All fighter especially journeymen deserve respect and have more guts and are harder than any of us keyboard warriors and as for world champs well that an entirely different level again. So try and enjoy a fight for once
